Description
According to the Swedish vehicle register, the car had covered 329,000 km by 2013. This means it has driven only a little over 20,000 km during the past 13 years. The current owner purchased the car in 2014 and undertook a sympathetic refurbishment, including replacing the doors and fenders and treating the car to a full professional repaint.
The car has been serviced regularly throughout its life, as documented in the accompanying records. There are a few minor signs of normal use, but considering its mileage, the overall condition is exceptionally well preserved.
The sale includes supporting documentation, two keys, and the car has recently passed its roadworthiness inspection. A faulty instrument cluster was replaced, and the odometer now displays 122,470 km. Documentation confirming the instrument replacement is included.
Although the car has not been inspected on a lift, the available photographs of the underbody provided by the owner suggest that it is in good condition. The car has also been undersealed for additional corrosion protection.
Technical data
Condition
-
Mechanical condition
All technical functions are in proper working order, with the exception of the cruise control, which is currently inoperative. The air conditioning blows cold as it should, and the car is fitted with new tires installed in 2024.
-
Interior condition
The interior is in good, honest condition with normal signs of use. The seats are intact and have developed a light patina over the years. A leather treatment would be a worthwhile investment to help preserve them for the future. The carpets, headliner, and interior trim panels are all in good, well-kept condition, and the luggage compartment is equally clean and well presented.
-
Exterior condition
The high-quality repaint carried out approximately ten years ago has held up very well. The paint retains a deep gloss, complemented by well-preserved lights, glass, and exterior trim. A small dent is visible on the left rear door, and there is a crack in the rear reflector panel between the taillights. The car is fitted with excellent, recently installed tires on attractive alloy wheels, and a removable tow bar is also included.
-
General condition
An exceptionally well-preserved example that presents far better than its mileage would suggest. The engine delivers the strong, effortless performance that made the Aero such an icon. A highly enjoyable and comfortable car that offers outstanding value for money.
