Description
The current owner purchased the car on July 24, 2023, and has since addressed a number of minor issues as well as the engine. At the time of purchase, the engine was in poor condition, so a replacement engine was installed. This engine had been overhauled, including a resurfaced cylinder head and a new head gasket. The gearbox from the original engine was retained, as it was considered to be in good working order. The mileage of the replacement engine is unknown.
The car was recently inspected on April 13, 2026, without any remarks. Externally, there have been a number of touch-ups to the paintwork. Overall, the car can be described as being in relatively good driver condition considering its mileage.

Mechanical condition
As previously described, the car is fitted with a replacement engine. It runs well, but the idle is uneven—especially when cold—and should be adjusted for smoother driving.
Recently inspected, with all technical functions in working order except for the instrument cluster. According to the current owner, this is likely due to a grounding issue, and the unit should be replaced. However, the owner has chosen not to replace it in order to preserve and verify the original mileage.
New brakes all around and a new wiper motor have been installed. The electric sunroof works well and is leak-free. The car comes with two keys, a spare wheel, and a jack. -
Interior condition
Lightly patinated leather interior that has held up very well considering the mileage. This is something we often see in older Mercedes—quality.
Driver-condition for the carpets, dashboard, trim, headliner, and door panels. There is a crack in the leather-covered center armrest. A CD stereo is installed, but it has not been tested. -
Exterior condition
The car is straight and in good condition body-wise, though there are some touch-ups in certain areas. A new windshield has been fitted, and the remaining glass and lighting are in good driver condition. The bumpers are in good shape with only minor marks.
Older all-season tires with good tread are mounted on the original wheels. Central locking and the electric sunroof are both functional. The car has not been inspected by us on a lift, but according to the owner, it is in good condition underneath. -
General condition
A well-priced and comfortable Mercedes-Benz with some minor potential for improvement for those who wish. Adjusting the idle is the only thing that should be addressed promptly, as the engine may occasionally stall when shifting gears.

Facts about the model

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
