Mechanical condition
Runs nicely and feels as solid as it should. The only remark is that the central locking system does not work perfectly.

Interior condition
The green fabric upholstery is in great condition. The front seats are in good condition with no wear and tear, and the rear seat is similarly in good condition with a few minor stains. The wood trim, console, and headliner are all in fine shape. The mat near the pedals has a minor hole/wear, and something was previously glued to the dashboard. Except from that, the overall impression is extremely positive. The radio has been upgraded to a more current model. The original steering wheel is still in place.

Exterior condition
The paint on the car is nice, however it has most likely been repainted at some point. The left front wing was recently replaced, and the body behind it had some repairs as well. Inner wings have been redone as well. The bumpers and trim are really good, although there is a minor scratch on one of the trim corners. The grille is in good shape and intact, however the plastic has gotten brittle with age. The rubber seals appear to be factory installed and are a little dry. The tires are brand new. The car has headlight wipers, which are quite uncommon outside of Scandinavia.

Attractive combination with the white colour and green interior. Feels overall solid and well-maintained.

Facts about the model
Bilens interiör var elegant med fina träpaneler och bekväma säten klädda i högkvalitativt tyg eller läder. Modellen var också utrustad med en rad innovativa funktioner för tiden, som elektriska fönsterhissar och en elektrisk antenn.
Mercedes-Benz 230 CE var inte bara en vacker bil, utan också mycket säker. Den hade ett högkvalitativt chassi med stora krockzoner, vilket gjorde den mycket robust och motståndskraftig mot kollisioner. Den var också utrustad med skivbromsar på alla fyra hjulen, vilket förbättrade bromsförmågan och säkerheten på vägen.
Bilen blev mycket populär bland Mercedes-Benz-fansen och har sedan dess blivit en eftertraktad klassiker. Med sin stilrena design, högkvalitativa interiör och imponerande prestanda är det inte svårt att förstå varför den fortfarande hyllas idag.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
