Mechanical condition
Engine, gearbox, and clutch operate satisfactorily. The gear lever is a bit loose, but this is not unusual for this model. New front brake calipers and brakes. All technical functions of the instruments are in working order. The car has not been inspected on a lift, so the owner’s statement that it is in good condition is the best we can convey. Good tires from 2012.
-
Interior condition
Mixed condition in the interior. Good dashboard, door panels, and instruments. A somewhat unusual carpet, best compared to a long-haired dog’s fur. Additional floor mats included. Cracks are present in both seats (see photos).
-
Exterior condition
Rust present at the bottom of both doors and near the right taillight. Minor scratches and stone chips are visible. A slight dent on the right rear fender. The car has been repainted in its original color at some point in its life. Soft top, cockpit cover, and hardtop are in good usable condition. Comes with double keys for functioning locks. Left side mirror glass is missing. Bumpers, light fixtures, and lenses are in good usable condition.
-
General condition
This car is roadworthy in its current condition. For those who wish to address the aspects that detract from the overall impression, it would make a perfect winter project.

Facts about the model
The Triumph Spitfire was first introduced in 1962 and designed by Giovanni Michelotti. The Mk2 was an evolution of the original model, incorporating several improvements and refinements.
The Mk2 was produced from 1964 to 1967, with around 30,000 units built.
It featured a two-door roadster design with a soft top, admired for its elegant lines and sporty appearance.
Power came from a 1.1-liter inline four-cylinder engine producing about 67 horsepower. This was an upgrade over the original Mk1, improving overall performance.
The car came with a four-speed manual transmission.
Performance figures included 0–100 km/h in around 12 seconds and a top speed of about 160 km/h, making it a lively performer for its time.
The Mk2 offered independent front suspension and a spirited rear axle, striking a balance between comfort and sporty handling.
The Spitfire has become a symbol of British motoring in the 1960s and is celebrated for its classic design and engaging driving experience. It enjoys a loyal following among classic car enthusiasts.
Today, the Triumph Spitfire Mk2 is regarded as a collectible, with well-preserved examples often achieving high prices at auction.
