Description
A major strength of this car is its extensive history file. It comes with a large collection of receipts, inspection reports, stamped service records and original handbooks. The low mileage of just 138,823 km is well supported by the accompanying inspection history.
The current owner purchased the car three years ago and has since invested approximately 25,000 SEK in servicing, maintenance and repairs. During his ownership it has only been lightly driven in the summer months and has always been stored in a warm, dry garage.
Today the car presents extremely well, with no notable damage or rust issues. The beautiful beige leather interior suits the car perfectly, while a few tasteful additions give it some extra character, including a Nardi steering wheel and gear knob, 17-inch AMG wheels and a Ferrita stainless-steel exhaust system.
The Mercedes recently received a five-star award from the inspection centre, something not easily achieved on a car of this age. It was fully serviced only a few months ago and passed its latest inspection in June without any remarks. The inspection is now valid until 30 June 2028, and the car is also road-tax exempt.
Overall, this is a very well-preserved 300 CE with low mileage, excellent history and the right combination of originality and tasteful upgrades — ready to be enjoyed by its next owner.

Mechanical condition
The car starts instantly, with a stable idle and no unusual engine noises. On the road it drives very well, feeling balanced and composed, with easy gear changes from the manual gearbox and sharp, effective brakes. No warning lights appeared during our test drive.
The engine bay is clean and tidy, as is the luggage compartment, both reflecting the overall well-kept condition of the car. Recently serviced and inspected, it is ready to be driven and enjoyed directly by its next owner.
The car is fitted with a nice set of alloy wheels with good tyres. Please note that the original wheels and original steering wheel are not included with the sale. -
Interior condition
Interior of this car still feels remarkably fresh and well preserved. The beige leather seats show no notable damage, while the door cards, interior panels, headliner, carpets and dashboard are all in excellent condition.
The only remarks are some pixelation in the temperature display and a small crack in the varnish on the centre console armrest — that is basically it. The electric sunroof and mirrors work as they should. The air conditioning is working and feels cool, although not quite cold enough, so ideally it would benefit from a gas recharge. -
Exterior condition
A very presentable car with straight bodywork and no notable signs of damage or rust, and the same can be said for the underbody. The car appears to have seen very little winter use over the years.
The bumpers and exterior trim are in very good condition, while the rear lights appear to have been replaced with a later-style version. The paintwork is clean and bright with a very nice overall finish. On closer inspection, you can find a few minor touch-ups and light marks in places, but nothing that stands out or detracts from the overall appearance. These have been noted in the pictures. -
General condition
These cars have become increasingly popular among enthusiasts looking for a more usable summer classic that still offers a comfortable, more modern driving experience. The 300 CE combines classic Mercedes-Benz quality and styling with a car that can still be enjoyed regularly without feeling outdated on today’s roads.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
