Beschreibung

It was delivered to its first owner in Germany by the dealer Hammer & Co GmbH in Cologne in August 1988. The current owners purchased the car early on, in May 1989, and it has since taken part in countless tours among opera houses and stages across Europe. The owners reside in Sweden part of the year and imported the 735 here in April 2004. They have used it every summer in Sweden ever since. The most recent approved inspection was carried out on 22 August 2023.

Beurteilung Fahrzeugzustand

  • Zustand technisch

    It starts up and runs well, with the gearbox shifting smoothly. The brakes pull straight and there are no unusual noises from the chassis. The car is showing a few warning messages in German; the mileage display isn’t available, and the service indicator is glowing yellow-red. It’s due for both inspection and service, and the air conditioning isn’t cooling.

  • Zustand Interieur

    Normal wear and condition for the mileage, with just a little lubrication needed on the commonly worn left side of the driver’s seat. Otherwise, the headliner is in good shape with a few small areas of glue failure, and the door panels look fine. The driver’s window regulator is not working. The sunroof operates smoothly and quickly. The driver’s seat back adjustment is slightly faulty on the right side—it only reclines on the left, resulting in a noticeably twisted angle if you try to recline it fully. However, this does not affect a normal driving position.

  • Zustand Exterieur

    The paint has been on the car since new and shows the patina of just over 290 000 km. The original wheels for Michelin TRX tyres are available and come with the car—those rims are also why the owner fitted the current wheels. Many prestige and performance cars of the era were equipped with Michelin TRX tyres, which required a special rim dimension. Today, a newly manufactured TRX tyre costs around SEK 6 000.

  • Zustand gesamt

    Well-used and cherished by its owners—one was reluctant to sell, the other eager, but the decision is now made. An affordable car for the young-timer enthusiast.

  • At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
  • During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
  • Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
  • When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
  • If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
  • If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
  • Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
  • For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
