The car comes with three start keys. The two keys with alarm fobs require new batteries and calibration at a BMW workshop. All keys function for starting and driving the car, but the alarm will not work without this service.
The car comes with a set of winter tyres on rims, instruction book, service book and spare wheel with original jack. The tow bar is approved for 2300 kg towing capacity.

The engine is a V8 with 286 hp coupled to a 5-speed automatic gearbox. The engine sounds good and the gearbox shifts smoothly. The car is equipped with permanent four-wheel drive. The owner has carried out several improvement measures over the past year and replaced worn parts to maintain good operational reliability. See the owner's comments. The latest service was performed in September 2025. The steering wheel is not perfectly centered when driving; a wheel alignment is required to rectify this, following the front axle renovation recently carried out. The buyer is responsible for arranging the wheel alignment.

Normal wear and tear considering age and mileage. See images. There are pixel errors in the car radio display; other displays are without fault. Equipped with aftermarket Bluetooth; the original radio's CD controls are used to connect the mobile phone. Well-functioning air conditioning.

Good exterior condition. It appears genuinely fine for its age and mileage. The paintwork has held up well, with minor surface rust visible at the panel seams on the underside of the left rear door, which can be seen upon close inspection. The undercarriage shows normal surface rust, and we recommend that the buyer has a thorough rust protection treatment carried out. See the images. New tyres were fitted in 2024.

The BMW X5 (E53) is the first generation of BMW's successful SUV series, manufactured between 1999 and 2006. The model was officially unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show on January 4, 1999. Because BMW owned Rover Group during its development, the E53 shared many components and technical solutions with the Range Rover L322, including the Hill Descent Control system. The model was primarily intended for the American market and was therefore built at BMW's factory in Spartanburg, South Carolina, USA. Between September 1999 and September 2006, when production ceased, BMW produced just under 468,000 examples of the X5.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
