In 2023, the car underwent a body renovation including welding repairs and repainting in its original colour. At the same time, the interior was newly reupholstered. In 2024, a new convertible roof was fitted and the roof frame was renovated. See below for a more detailed description of the work completed.
2023
Wings
Straightened and properly aligned.
Driver’s Side Floor
All rust was removed by sandblasting. New sheet metal was welded in where required.
Door Mounts
New mounts were welded in for both doors. The doors were carefully adjusted to sit perfectly flush with the bodywork.
Locks / Trunk
New lock installed.
Paintwork Process
Entire body sanded down to bare metal
All rust removed and minor damage repaired with welded metal sections
Epoxy primer and paint applied
Body filler applied where necessary and carefully sanded
Standox MS filler primer applied
Wet-sanded using 320-grit followed by 500-grit paper
Topcoat applied and sanded with 1200-grit paper
Clear coat applied, then wet-sanded with 1500 and 3000 grit
Fully polished to a high finish
Interior
Front and rear seats reupholstered in black artificial leather
Side panels, including rear side triangles, reupholstered in matching black artificial leather
New carpets installed
New gear shifter fitted
Wheels / Rims
Refinished and repainted.
2024
Convertible Top
Fully restored with completely new fabric installed. The metal frame was sandblasted, rust-treated, and repainted. New rubber seals were also installed around the windows.

Zustand technisch
Runs and drives well, with the engine, brakes, and gearbox all performing properly, and the car feels stable on the road. From cold start it just requires a few minutes to warm up correctly.
The exhaust manifold gasket has recently been replaced. We also noticed an occasional small fuel drip from the right rear injector, likely requiring only a new rubber fuel line. The cambelt was replaced around five years ago, although the car has covered less than 1,000 km since then.
Ideally, the car would benefit from a general review and routine service. Inspected and approved until 2026-10-31. -
Zustand Interieur
Interior renovated and still in nice condition. A few small jobs remain: refit the chrome ring around the gear shift gaiter, clip the cabriolet roof wires correctly, improve the lower edge fitment of the door panels, and install a radio. Otherwise, the interior is very neat and tidy.

Zustand Exterieur
Bodywork is straight with no major dents or damage, and the doors open and close nicely with good panel fit and gaps. The underbody is clean and tidy, showing signs of previous floor repairs along with a few rust blisters around the lower front wing edges and the front right sill area. Ideally, the car would benefit from proper underseal protection. Paintwork is bright and shiny with a few light scratches and some small blisters around the rear wing edge. Chrome work all round is bright, with some oxidation visible on the chrome bumpers.

Zustand gesamt
Fun summer car with a lot of work already completed, with only a few minor jobs remaining. We would recommend a normal service and checking the injector rubber pipe before regular use..

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
