He purchased the car in 2009, while the previous owner had the bodywork renovated and the car repainted in 2007 by Classic Autocenter in Eriksmåla. The car has only been used during the summer months and always stored in a warm garage over winter. Looking through older inspection reports, the mileage in 2011 was recorded at 209,040 km, and today it reads 215,913 km — meaning only 6,973 km have been driven over the past 15 years.
The car has always been kept in good running condition. We collected and transported it to our depot, carried out a simple review, and found that it runs and drives well, although it needs 2–3 minutes to warm up properly from cold. We would recommend carrying out a full service including new fluids and spark plugs.
The interior is original and complete. The main wear is to the driver’s seat, while the carpets are worn in places and the upper passenger door trim is missing. These are relatively simple items to address, with replacement parts readily available from VP Autoparts.

Zustand technisch
Engine is easy to start, although it needs 2–3 minutes to warm up properly from cold. Once warmed up, it runs well with no strange noises. Ideally, a full service with fresh fuel and new spark plugs would make a noticeable difference, especially as the car has been standing for over a year.
The car drives well with easy gear changes and a functioning overdrive. Brakes feel good, the engine performs nicely, and the road handling is stable. The rocker cover gasket will likely need replacing as it is slightly damp.
The car is fitted with a good set of Clover wheels complete with chrome rings, although the rings show some wear. It also comes with a good set of older tyres. Inspection exempt forever. -
Zustand Interieur
Interior is complete and tidy, although the main damage is to the leather on the driver’s seat. Reupholstering both front seats would make a huge improvement. The upper trim on the passenger-side window is missing, carpets are worn in places, and there are small marks and wear on the door cards.
The headliner is in good condition, and the dashboard is complete with no cracks to the dashboard pad. All original gauges are in place and working apart from the oil temperature gauge, although the oil pressure gauge works correctly while driving. The original radio is also still fitted and working. -
Zustand Exterieur
This car presents itself very well with straight bodywork, no dents, damage, or rust issues, along with good panel fit and gaps. The underbody is solid with no standout rust problems or damage.
Paintwork is super clean and bright with only a few light marks and scratches. Chrome work all around the car is in great condition, nice and shiny, with only oxidation on the boot lid handle. Also included in the boot is a new passenger-side mirror ready to be fitted. Driver’s door handle needs a review, as sometimes the door opens directly while at other times it requires several attempts. -
Zustand gesamt
Super presentable car that mainly just needs some interior updating and a good service, after which you will have a really nice Volvo 1800E.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
