The car has had eleven registered owners in Sweden. In recent years, it has received a number of improvements, including newly upholstered seats, a new carpet and a new soft top.
The current owner acquired the car in 2023 but is now moving and no longer has room to keep it.
The horn is not working, and the speedometer is also inoperative. Troubleshooting has shown that the cable to the gearbox is intact and turning, so our conclusion is that the speedometer itself requires refurbishment. This would also be a suitable opportunity to replace the speedometer face with one calibrated in km/h.
According to the owner, the speedometer stopped working last summer. Since then, a mobile phone app has been used to keep track of speed while driving. The mobile phone is not included.
The car’s total mileage from new is unknown.
One ignition key is included with the car. The spare wheel, jack and owner’s manual are missing.

According to the information provided, the car is equipped with a 383 cu in V8 engine (6.3 litres) and a TorqueFlite 727 automatic transmission.
During the test drive, the engine started easily and ran well. The car was left idling for some time during the photography session, and we noticed no signs of overheating.
On country roads, the car felt stable and drove well, with no noticeable tendency towards bump steer. In general, American cars from the 1960s can be somewhat more sensitive to road grooves than what Swedish drivers are used to, depending on the chassis design, tyres and, not least, the condition of the road surface.
When driving on quieter road surfaces, some transmission noise could be heard from the rear axle. It did not feel particularly alarming in the medium term, especially considering that the car is around 60 years old and some wear is to be expected. -
Zustand Interieur
Attractive interior. The seats were refurbished and reupholstered around 2020, and the carpet was replaced at the same time.
The door trim is original and shows normal signs of wear. The dashboard presents well. We recommend polishing the chrome on the steering wheel.
The luggage compartment is in good condition, although the floor mat is missing. There is some paint flaking on the metal floor following the repaint. See pictures. -
Zustand Exterieur
According to the information provided, the car was repainted in Sweden after being imported in 2004. The paintwork has a few small rust bubbles in places but is otherwise in good condition.
The fit of the body panels and door gaps is normal for the model. The body sides are straight and present well.
A new soft top was fitted around 2019. The car is fitted with aftermarket Barzetta wheels and 225/45 R17 tyres. The rear wheels show some oxidation.
The bumpers and other brightwork are in good usable condition, although there is some pitting to the die-cast chrome and a degree of surface rust on the bumpers. There are also a few minor dents to the bumper corners, though nothing particularly noticeable. We believe that polishing all of the chrome would further improve the overall appearance.
Under the bonnet, the paint appears to be original and is a different colour from the exterior of the car. See pictures. -
Zustand gesamt
The car feels stable and gives a generally positive impression. Overall, it is in good usable condition and sits towards the upper end of the scale.

- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
