The current owner purchased the car in 2021 with 173,220 km and has since used it lightly, mainly as a summer car. Unfortunately, an injury has made driving a manual car difficult, which is the reason for the sale. In total, the car has had six registered owners in Sweden, a mixture of private owners and dealers.
The car remains largely in standard specification. According to the owner, it has received a Polestar software upgrade giving approximately 30 hp more. It is currently fitted with an open airbox, although the original airbox is included.
The car is fitted with the desirable 6-speed manual gearbox and its distinctive Spaceball shifter. Factory equipment includes a sunroof, Four-C active chassis with Comfort, Sport and Advanced settings, the larger Dolby sound system, and leather interior. Overall, it is a nicely specified V70 R, possibly reflecting the fact that the car was originally owned by Volvo Cars Germany.

Zustand technisch
The car starts immediately, with a smooth and stable-running engine. On the road it feels solid and well balanced, with an easy-shifting gearbox and strong brakes. As mentioned, the cambelt is booked for replacement, so the car will be delivered with a new cambelt fitted. Inspected until 2026-12-31 and ready for the next owner to enjoy.

Zustand Interieur
One of the best colour combinations — black exterior with a beige leather interior. The seats are clean and undamaged, showing only normal signs of wear for their age. The door cards, interior panels, carpets and headliner are all in great condition and have clearly been well preserved.
The dashboard and instrumentation are also in very good condition, with everything working as it should and no pixelated displays. The electric windows, mirrors, seats, GPS and sunroof are all fully operational.
Tint film has been fitted to the rear side windows and rear window. The boot area is also exceptionally clean and well presented. -
Zustand Exterieur
Bodywork is straight with well-fitting panels and no notable dents, damage or rust issues. The underside is also in good condition, with some surface rust around the steel jacking points, which is common on these models.
The paintwork remains bright and shiny with no standout issues, just a few minor stone chips and marks consistent with age and use. The alloy wheels present well with some light scuffing and are fitted with good tyres. -
Zustand gesamt
Still today, the V70 R AWD is a seriously fun car to drive, combining performance, practicality and that unmistakable Volvo character. These cars are really starting to become hot youngtimer classics, following in the footsteps of the legendary 850 T-5R. Grab a good one now before prices start getting crazy.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
