The boxer engine starts easily, sounds nice, and the gearbox feels good with clear positions. The owner has often both replaced and newly equipped the car with brakes, as the model is known for having sensitive brake cylinders. The brakes have a peculiarity that means they benefit from being bled every spring after the winter hibernation.

Interior condition
Untouched interior in fresh condition with a couple of tears in the passenger seats and a cracked seam on the driver's seat. The wine-red upholstery nicely matches the dark blue exterior. Good headliner, carpets, and door panels, but the handle on the driver's side has broken off at the top and has been repaired. The steering wheel is cracked at the right "quarter-to-three grip," but a complete spare steering wheel with column is included.

Paint from the early nineties that has held up fairly well, but it also has some marks, elevations, and bubbles.

A nineties restoration that still holds up, with nice patina and in a user-friendly condition. Uncommon and discreet model.

Owner's comment
"The car was sold in Stockholm, and I bought it in 1989 as a restoration project. It was located in Kalmar, was driven home to Varberg where I fixed up the car over 2 years. Almost everything except the engine was renovated. The car was repainted in its original color. Since then, it has been driven more or less every summer, and was last driven 1000 km to and from Öland in the summer of 2023. The engine has always worked perfectly, has never needed to be touched, though it has had an oil change every year. The car is inspected forever, the paint is still quite nice, and the interior is completely untouched. What can be done is to change the bushings for the front anti-roll bar and the tachometer cable, another cable comes with it. Bleeding the brakes might be a good idea before the season. Many spare parts and a workshop manual are included. I have been a member of the Lancia club since the mid-eighties, have had many Lancia cars, and would like the car to end up with someone who appreciates it as it is or perhaps renovates it again to perfect condition. It is a very unusual car, probably the only 1800 Berlina in Sweden. It has only driven just over 120 000 kilometers in total, the engine is a four-cylinder boxer engine that runs smoothly and quietly with around 0.8 - 0.85 in fuel consumption."

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
