Description

Delivered new in Sweden in July 1976, probably in the Småland region, and it was also there that the current owner purchased the car in the autumn of 1985. He never received any service papers or booklets, but an instruction manual, sales brochures, and workshop manuals are included. The Pontiac has been used as an enthusiast car all along, and the total mileage today is just over 75,000 kilometers. The latest approved inspection was done on June 1, 2016, and the car is sold without inspection.

Condition

  • Mechanical condition:

The car is drivable but has not been inspected. The engine and gearbox work well together, but the power steering needs an overhaul of hoses and oil, as do the fuel supply's vacuum hoses. Furthermore, the brakes should also be checked before inspection, as the car has hardly been driven in the last 5-6 years.

  • Interior condition:

Fluffy plush interior in fresh condition. The wood imitations on the dashboard, plastic details, and plush fabric are all nicely fine for the car's age and mileage.

  • Exterior condition:

Repainted in the nineties by an acquaintance of the current owner. He wasn't entirely satisfied with the result, and today, the car has a somewhat matte finish with a few blisters here and there. Some surface rust on the trims around the vinyl roof. At the same time, the car can exude a kind of cool, aged seventies vibe, especially with the old two-line registration plate that didn't quite fit and was mounted at an angle.

  • General condition:

A nice and honest overall impression with an intact feel and a little to fix. Swedish-sold large American cars from the seventies are rare finds today.
