"A great-looking car in every aspect, well cared for by its owners. It’s fun to drive, sounds fantastic, and is the perfect cruiser for car meets and events this summer."

Description

This car was imported to Sweden in 1989 and registered for road use in 1993. The current owner purchased it in 2022. The previous owner invested a great deal of time and care into renovating and upgrading the car, treating it with true pride and joy.

It’s fitted with a fully rebuilt Chevrolet 4.1-liter straight-six engine, equipped with an Offenhauser intake, Holley carburetor, and a Vortech V9 supercharger. Power is delivered through a 4-speed TH700 automatic transmission with lock-up, paired with a rear axle from a 1980s Camaro. The battery has been relocated to the trunk, and all modifications have been carried out to a high standard—without added wiring or unnecessary refinements.

The car retains its original steering (no power steering) and is fitted with standard drum brakes all around. Thanks to the thoughtful upgrades, it offers a very enjoyable and driver-friendly experience while maintaining its classic charm.

Condition

  • Mechanical condition

The owner knows older cars well and has kept this one in good, usable condition. It starts easily, runs smoothly, drives well with easy gear changes, solid brakes, and good road handling. Fitted with a remote-controlled electronic exhaust valve for enhanced sound. The engine is clean and well-maintained, with nice wheels and good tires. Inspected exempt for every and readt to drive.

  • Interior condition

Interior is clean and well-kept, with comfortable seats, a tidy headliner, and door cards. Rear carpet appears original; the front has been replaced. Classic dashboard with working heater, chrome details, and Bakelite buttons. Original radio is non-functional; extra radio works occasionally. Fitted with oil pressure, water temp, rev counter, and boost gauges. Passenger door lock is unreliable. Handle-operated searchlight included.

  • Exterior condition

Bodywork is solid, with straight panels and no damage or rust issues. The underbody is very clean and solid, with no signs of concern. The paintwork is bright and clean, presenting itself very well overall, though small stone chips and minor marks can be found upon close inspection. The chrome bumpers and trim are bright and tidy. The rubber seals around the windows are older, and the rubber covers on the running boards show some wear.

  • General condition

A perfect summer cruiser that retains its original vintage style while delivering a more modern driving experience. With around 220+ hp under the bonnet, it easily keeps up with motorway speeds.
