"The car was restored in the 1970s and remains in good condition, running well."

Description

The car was acquired by the current owner’s father and fully restored during the 1970s. It was disassembled down to its components, with the body lifted off the frame. The father owned a workshop and carried out the restoration with great care and precision. The car was registered in 1978 and was used extensively during the summer months.

In 2018, the engine was removed and sent to Stuttgart for refurbishment. The car has remained within the same family since the 1970s. The current owner was a dedicated Mercedes enthusiast and had several Mercedes vehicles in his collection.

The car was in use until 2022 and then remained stationary until late summer 2025, when a recommissioning service was carried out. It now runs very well. Extensive documentation is available and included in the sale. The car is being sold on behalf of an estate.
