Chevrolet AA Capitol Sport Cabriolet 2.8L 4-cyl — 1927

This car has been in a car collection since the 1950s and is in a non-renovated original condition. The AA-Capitol model series was built over two years and the Sport Convertible was the coolest.
This car has been at the car museum outside Kil up until 1980s and then bought into Lennart Johansson's collection. We understand that he saved the car because after technical review, it’s easy to renovate and a new cabriolet roof then you have a really cool and beautiful collector car. Sold unregistered and documents missing.

• Mechanical condition

  Everything in place but the engine doesn’t roll over by hand.

• Interior condition

  Reupholstered and probably the original upholstery is underneath.

• Exterior condition

  Worn paint but not rusty and ok the in frame.

• General condition

  Cool and very rare model that is well worth bringing back to life again, Better condition than it looks in the pictures.

Troligtvis är modellen en Chevrolet AA Capitol kom 1927 med en rak fyra på 2,8 liter, först med 25 Hk och efter en tid uppdaterad till 35 hk.
Modellserien fanns med åtta olika karosser där sportmodellen var den tuffaste/mest exklusiva. AA serien kom samtidigt som Ford gick över från model T till modell A. Chevrolet lyckades med denna modelseriel bryta Fords dominans på marknaden och sålde under 927-1920 mer än 650.000 bilar
Året därefter kom en sexcylindrig version, som ytterligare stärkte märket gentemot Ford.

• During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
• ATTENTION: Many of these cars are sold without valid Swedish registration documents, as spare parts.

Important to know before placing your bids!

• Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
• When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
• If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
• If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
• Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
• For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
