Mechanical condition
During the inspection, the car had some issues, but according to the owner's information, it is now running again and drivable. Since it has been stationary for some time, it's appropriate to give it a thorough inspection and service. The car has not been checked on a lift and has minor rust issues, but overall, it seems to be in relatively good condition.
-
Interior condition
The interior is in good condition, with a nice headliner. Front carpets are missing, and there are minor damages on the backside of the front seat's backrest.
-
Exterior condition
Appears to have original paint in some areas, touch-ups have been done. Paint peeling at the front between bumper and grille. However, it is still in good condition for its age. Glass, chrome, and rubber are also in good condition for a car with 60 years behind it.
-
General condition
Built when the Beatles took the world by storm, England was on everyone's lips. The epitome of cars from the island was small Minis, lively sports cars, and vehicles in the luxury car segment. However, here we have a classic and pleasant family car, in a beautiful color combination with delightful nostalgia and a 60s vibe – a true classic.

Facts about the model
The Victor model was produced between 1957 and 1978. The FB generation was manufactured from 1961 to 1964 and was a mid-sized car that was considered somewhat conservatively designed. However, it performed its function well and was relatively popular, including in Sweden. During this time, when the sales of British cars were declining in Sweden and GM cousin Opel was gaining a larger share of the market, some Victors were still sold here. A straight-four engine with a displacement of 1505 cm³ and a single carburetor producing 50 horsepower provided modest performance, but the car was regarded as robust and well-built. The sportier version, the VX4/90, featured dual carburetors and 72 horsepower. A total of 328,640 units of the FB generation were sold. Competitors included Opel's Rekord and Ford's Consul, among others.
