Mechanical condition
The engine has been upgraded with a 100 hp unit from 1947, and the rear axle ratio changed to 3.78:1. The engine has been rebuilt with new bearings, piston rings, seals, valves, guides, and more. New water pump, refurbished radiator fitted with an electric fan. 12V alternator system. The gearbox is a fully synchronised unit from the 1939 model year. The clutch has new friction plates and a release bearing. The car runs excellently. Equipped with a spotlight and a small period-correct fan in front of the driver — these are not connected.

Interior condition
Most striking is the upholstery, which was at some point re-trimmed in a type of sofa fabric. However, it remains in very good condition, as does the headlining. The rest of the cabin is in good condition for its age. Apart from the upholstery, it is relatively untouched and well-preserved.

Exterior condition
Older repaint, likely done sometime in the late 1970s — apparently carried out using a vacuum cleaner, an old-fashioned method for spraying paint on a car at home. There are quite a few paint blobs and spray patterns suggesting this. The paintwork has received some touch-ups over the years since. Bumpers are nice, with a small dent on the rear one and some corrosion on zinc-cast details. Overall, it can be described as having an even patina. Some older repairs are present and can be seen in the boot and doors.

General condition
A solid base condition with certain modifications and technical improvements. In very good mechanical condition, with a practical charm that makes it usable as it is — or ready to be restored, or taken in whichever direction the new owner prefers.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
