Description
The Executive package includes, among other features: soft leather upholstery, rear seat heating, enhanced rear seat comfort with the seat moved back for improved legroom, a wider rear door opening angle, electric rear sunblind, umbrella holder in the boot, electric front seats on both sides, thicker laminated side windows, bi-xenon headlights, and an upgraded sound system.
In addition, the car is equipped with RTI navigation, integrated telephone, original fuel heater with timer, marine blue pearl paint, and mudflaps all around.
The current owner acquired the car in April 2024. He purchased new Volvo wheels and replaced the rear brake shoes. Otherwise, the car has always been regularly serviced. Included with the car are the original brochure, manuals with completed service book, documentation, receipts, and inspection records. Two keys. Original wheels with studless winter tyres are also included. Newly inspected and ready to drive.

Mechanical condition
Starts and runs smoothly in both engine and drivetrain. All functions — including steering, automatic transmission, handling, brakes, etc. — work very well. Not inspected on a lift, but what could be seen looked good, and no remarks have been made during inspections. Underbody treated in 2024; photos taken at the time can be seen in the presentation.

Interior condition
Very nice and well-preserved interior in dark grey soft leather with light wear. Excellent comfort in both the seats and rear bench. Door panels, trim, carpets, and headlining are in fine condition. Additional protective mats. Genuine walnut inlays on the trim panels, dashboard, and gear knob, all in well-preserved condition. Leather-wrapped steering wheel, controls, dashboard, and gauges also in equally fine condition. All electrical functions, gauges, and extra equipment work flawlessly. Additional reading lamps.

Exterior condition
Very nice and glossy, seemingly original paintwork in 417 Marine Blue metallic with pearl effect. A few small scratches and stone chips are present, as well as a small paint flake on the front bumper. Glass, trim, emblems, rubber, plastic, and lighting details are in fine condition. Newly purchased 17-inch Stentor wheels from Volvo (original design) fitted with good Nokian tyres. An additional brand-new spare wheel is also included. Engine bay and luggage compartment are in fine condition.

The fine provenance as an executive car for the Swedish National Bank, combined with its condition, equipment, and low mileage, makes this vehicle a fine classic and a historically interesting enthusiast and collector’s car.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
