Description
The car was last inspected in 2022 with a permanent approval. At that time, it also received a full service with oils, spark plugs, etc. Since then, it has been driven very little, so a startup service and possibly a brake check are recommended. There are quite a few minor details on the car that could be improved, as described below. The displayed mileage cannot be guaranteed, as the odometer has likely rolled over.
The car has not been inspected on a lift. A binder with various documentation is available.
Technical data
Condition
-
Mechanical condition
The engine runs smoothly and evenly. On cold start it emits a slight blue puff, which disappears within a few seconds. It should be noted that the car had been standing unused for a longer period at the time of inspection. A minor oil leak is present, suspected to be from a seal—common on these Porsche models. The brakes, including the handbrake, work well. The tachometer is not functioning, but all other technical systems are in order.
-
Interior condition
Upholstery surfaces are intact and in good condition. The left rear seatback folds down due to a missing latch, and the seat cushion on that side has some stains. The dashboard is nice, though with some glue residue on the glovebox lid. Door panels and carpets are in good usable condition. At the time of inspection, the car had not been cleaned, so a thorough detailing is recommended, which would significantly improve the overall impression. The luggage compartment is tidy, though the mat needs to be secured. The boot lid struts are weak and need replacement. A spare wheel and two sets of keys are included.
-
Exterior condition
As mentioned earlier, the car has been repainted. There are some minor paint bubbles, likely caused by filler work before painting. Paint has flaked at the front edges of the widened rear arches (from tire spray). Scuff marks are visible on the front spoiler. The paintwork is glossy, but a polishing would bring out even more shine. Glass surfaces are in good condition. Some of the window trims are cracked in places. The wheels show oxidation but are fitted with good, albeit older, tires.
-
General condition
A perfectly decent overall impression of this Porsche. A refresh and replacement of a few minor details would improve its appearance. The car is in roadworthy condition and can definitely be used right away. It could perhaps serve as a rolling restoration, depending on the level of ambition.
