Mechanical condition
As previously mentioned, there is a knocking sound in the engine. According to the owner. Start-up attempts have not been made except that we ran the engine on the starter motor briefly to ensure it rotates. Other technical functions have not been able to be tested, but according to the owner, everything was working in the autumn of '25, including the air conditioning. Brakes and instrument cluster replaced by the current owner. Good quality tyres from 2020 on fine Baroque alloy wheels.
-
Interior condition
Fine interior. Seats reupholstered by the current owner. Fine MB-Tex material on seating surfaces. Fine door panels and headlining. Carpets in good condition. There are some cracks on the wood panels on the dashboard which unfortunately is very common. Rust present in the boot floor. See pictures.
-
Exterior condition
Fine gloss to the sun-yellow paint. There are, however, some bubbles on scattered areas of the bodywork. The car has been repainted in its original color at some point during its lifetime.
-
General condition
a fine overall impression. If you can overlook the engine knock and perhaps can live with the bubbles in the paintwork, you have a nice MB in good condition for use with the largest engine that was available for this model.
