Description
This nice Dodge was imported from Montevideo, Uruguay in the early 1990s. When the car arrived in Sweden, they went through the drivetrain, brakes, etc. The car is otherwise in fairly pristine condition. Various pictures and documents come with the car, plus insert windows and some spare parts, see pictures. The bags in the pictures are not included.
A previous owner drove the car on the road from Malmö to Stockholm to participate in the vintage car event (Prins Bertil Memorial Gårdes Loppet). A journey of just over 600 km. According to the statement, it has also participated in several international rallies, including the Rally Internacional del Rio de la Plata in Uruguay in 1988. The Dodge Brothers Phaeton 126 was a fast car in 1927 with a top speed of 96 km/h.
It is starting to be time to look over the radiator hoses that are getting old and to change the oil in the engine, rear axle and gearbox. An extra can of Castrol oil is included. The cabriolet roof needs to be reviewed

The interior is in good used condition. There are cracks in the leather upholstery. The convertible top hangs slightly on the left side and should be looked over, see pictures.

Facts about the model
Dodge Brothers Machine shop grundades tidigt 1900-tal. Från början var de underleverantör till biltillverkare i Detroit. 1914 startade de sin biltillverkning i Hamtramck, Michigan, USA. Huvudfabriken byggdes 1910 och användes fram till 1980. Namnet kommer från bröderna John Francis Dodge och Horace Elgin Dodge. Märket införlivades 1928 i Chrysler-koncernen. Både personbilar, lätta och tunga lastbilar har sålts under Dodge-namnet. Idag ägs de av Fiat Chrysler Group LLC.
