Description
Good winter project car as VW bubbla are easy to work on. The bodywork is normal for an unrestored car. The upper part has the original paint. The Wings were changed sometime in the 1980s and the rust holes behind the front wheels towards the bulkhead were repaired and in the corresponding places in front of the rear wheels, (the usual rust spots). The car is rustproofed in the cavities and underneath. Unfortunately, rust has crept out around the wing mounts, but despite this, the car is perfectly fine as it is, or a good subject for a rolling renovation. The odometer reading is 98,000 km, but considering the wear on the interior, we estimate that it has driven 198,000 km.
The car is being sold through Vertygsboden in Borås for a customer who needed help with the practicalities. Vertygsboden has, with the help of Mackans Garage, picked up, cleaned and started the car.

Mechanical condition
The car was started by Mackans Garage for Vertygsboden. It runs on starting gas and an external fuel supply. Buyers should clean the tank and replace the hoses. Brakes and electrics must also be checked and fixed. The steering is locked and the ignition key won't work, but it's the right key because it locks the doors.

Interior condition
Normally worn interior for 200,000 km. The foam rubber inside the seat upholstery has dried and pulverized (common on these cars). The driver's seat is worn, see pictures.

Exterior condition
Worn condition. Blisters and surface rust are present on the edges but no large holes. Rust hole in the floor under the battery (see picture). There is some surface rust underneath, but the car is relatively intact and good both underneath and on top.

General condition
Good project car that can be put back on the road with simple means. Suitable for rolling renovation or as a spare parts car. The money goes to a charitable cause in Ukraine. General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
