Description
The car comes from the Sandahls collection, which Bilweb Auctions AB will sell in early spring under four different themes; first, some of the family's popular workhorses, mainly Mercedes and Volkswagen, then about half a dozen exclusive fine Rolls-Royce and Jaguar cars, followed by a selection of early Ford cars and a Chevrolet from the childhood and youth of motoring. Finally, nine different award-winning and representative full-size USA cars from 1959, the year when fins were at their biggest.
Sandahls is today one of Sweden's largest family-owned transport companies. The company was founded in Värnamo in 1949. Older generations have collected about 40 cars under various themes in their private museum for many years. Bilweb Auctions AB has now been tasked with the honor of selling these cars in four installments in February and March this year.

Mechanical condition
The car is now operational with the engine running smoothly, though it requires a few attempts to warm up the glow plugs, alongside a newly installed battery. Its last inspection was in 1983, indicating the need for another inspection to qualify for exemption. It is also equipped with a towbar. However, the clutch and brakes require renovation, rendering it currently undrivable.

Interior condition
The interior is complete and just needs a general clean and valet to really shine. The vinyl seats, door cards, and floor mat are in remarkably good condition. The dashboard is intact with no cracks, featuring nice gauges and instrumentation. However, the steering wheel, possibly from another model, has a crack.

Exterior condition
The bodywork is straight, though there are some rust spots around the inner lower parts of the wings, and the outer sill has been replaced. The car was repainted over 30 years ago to a good standard and still looks appealing today, despite a few paint blisters around the door edges and lower wings. The chrome work is bright and in good condition, with slight signs of overspray on the chrome sill trims. The wheels and trims are nice, though the tires are older. The underbody and inside the wheel arches show signs of older welding work, and there's surface rust on the underbody.

Popular compact model and loved by many enthusiasts. One-owner car with good potential, relatively easy to get back onto the road again.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
