Description
The engine was completely rebuilt and all parts received the correct surface treatment, such as chromating and phosphating. The scooter was painted with the original cellulose colour Verde Metallizzato and new old parts or new from veteran scooter supplier Mauro Pascoli. In May 2008 it was finished and has been rolling every summer. The model (V15) was the very last of the rod gear-change versions, made in the late 1950s. The first officially imported Vespas came to Sweden in April 1950, and this is one of the few remaining of these early models.
Technical data
Condition
-
Mechanical condition
The engine was rebuilt in 2008 and is still in perfect working order, although an engine from this era do need a bit of common knowledge about maintenance, construction and functionality.
-
Interior condition
The inside of the body is painted in the same red primer as Piaggio used in the factory.
-
Exterior condition
Painted to really comply with its history, it's finished in the correct cellulose original colour Verde Matallizzato. Still looking very good, but a slight change in the surface finish can be spotted on a small area on the horncast.
-
General condition
A properly restored V15 is a sought-after model and this one will disappoint no one.
