Description
The car is now being sold by the deceased owner’s estate.
When it was brought back into use, a new starter battery had to be installed and the fuel pump was replaced. After that, the car was inspected and passed without any remarks. The car comes with the owner’s manual, service booklet, and the original warranty card from 1994. The original jack and the unused spare wheel are also included. There is one ignition key for the car. There is still hope of finding key number two, but we cannot guarantee that it will be found before the auction ends.
This is a remote auction. The photos were taken by an independent photographer with a strong interest in this specific car model, and the information about the car and its technical condition has been provided by the car’s owners. BWA has therefore not inspected the car on site.

Condition
-
Mechanical condition
Equipped with a 2.3-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine. Naturally aspirated, without turbo, with a stated output of 146 hp. Five-speed manual transmission. Starts easily and runs well. Newly inspected at the vehicle inspection on November 11, 2025, with no remarks. Fitted with older Michelin tires on original Saab aluminum wheels.
-
Interior condition
As close to like-new as one can get for a 30-year-old car with 28,000 km on the odometer. Beautiful in every detail, including the luggage compartment. Equipped with the original radio with cassette player. The air conditioning and cruise control have not been tested.
-
Exterior condition
The original paintwork is in exceptionally good condition. No damage is known on the bodywork, but there may be a few individual stone chips. Study the photos carefully to get a sense of the condition. The underside is in fine shape and impressed the inspectors at the vehicle testing station. The car is equipped with period-correct Bosch auxiliary lights, which were most likely fitted when it was new.
-
General condition
Considering the mileage and the overall excellent condition of the car, which has been cared for by its meticulous owner since new, we dare to go out on a limb and state that this is one of Sweden’s finest untouched Saab 9000 CSEs.

Facts about the model
See the tes here on YouTube
For a long time, the Saab 9000 was a common sight on Swedish roads, but that is no longer the case today. The model is disappearing at a rapid pace. The really fine examples are being exported to collectors abroad, while the scrappage rate remains high—primarily due to rust damage. In 2025 alone, 301 cars were scrapped according to available statistics. At the same time, 18 examples were exported.
In total, between 2022 and 2025, 2,127 Saab 9000s were scrapped, with the peak year being 2022 with 717 cars. The export of fine Saab 9000s during the years 2022 to 2025 amounted to a total of 44 cars. So, if you dream of owning a really fine Saab 9000, you should secure one soon.
