Description
The subsequent Swedish owners followed the prescribed service schedule and maintenance plan, entrusting the car to renowned Ferrari specialists Auto-Cura and von Braun Sportcars. The current owner purchased the car in 2012, commissioned a comprehensive service, and drove it just over 3,000 km over the following years before placing it in storage, elevated and preserved in a newly built heated garage. The car's most recent approved inspection was carried out on July 21, 2014.

Mechanical condition
The car has been stored on stands in a garage for an extended period. As a result, the engine has not been started for a long time, and although the car has covered no more than 3,000 km since its last service, a new owner is advised to transport it to a workshop for servicing, a timing belt replacement, and a general inspection before attempting to start the engine.
Otherwise, the car benefits from a good service history and comprehensive documentation, including a completed and stamped service book as well as a binder containing detailed invoices and receipts. The most recent service, including a timing belt replacement, was carried out in 2012 at 72,770 km. The odometer currently reads 75,800 km. -
Interior condition
The interior is in fine, well-preserved condition with only minimal wear. Many cars from this era suffer from sticky switches and controls, but this example has largely escaped that issue, with only the door release handles showing the typical sticky finish.

Original paintwork in good condition. 20-year-old Pirelli P Zero tires fitted to attractive original wheels.

Facts about the model
The original targa version sold in 1992 was designated the 348 TS. The updated 348 GTS was not introduced until late 1993 (alongside the GTB coupé), following the launch of the Spider convertible. As a result, the designation Ferrari 348 GTS generally refers either to the earlier 348 TS (such as the auction car) or to the rare 348 Serie Speciale, a limited-edition model produced in just 100 examples for the North American market during 1992 and 1993.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
