Description
This car was purchased by the current owner's wife in July 2002. The purchase took place in Bergeforsen, Sundsvall, and according to the previous owner, he had acquired the Ford in the Stockholm area, where it’s said to have originally served as a taxi. The couple cared for the car diligently and used it on many outings and rallies (think scenic tours and question-based drives). In 2021, the Ford was officially transferred to the current owner's name.
In 2023, the interior was renewed, as the old one no longer matched the overall standard of the vehicle. The Ford has been a popular choice for wedding drives and other formal events, thanks to its closed-body design, making it less dependent on good weather.
Mechanically and cosmetically, the car is in good, usable condition. It has passed inspection and is ready for the road.

Henry Ford built his first car in 1896 and founded the Ford Motor Company in 1903. His business idea was to produce cars that even the workers in his factory could afford to buy. In 1908, production of the Model T began—"the car that put the world on wheels." Model T production didn't end until 1927, by which time more than 15 million units had been built. That record stood until 1972, when the VW Beetle (Type 1) became the world’s best-selling car.
The Model T dominated the automobile market in many parts of the world, including Sweden. In the 1922 vehicle register for Värmland County, 447 out of 1,417 registered cars were Model Ts—giving Ford a market share of 32%. A number today’s car salespeople can only dream of.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
