Description
This car was sold new to a customer in Värmland in June 2001. Less than a year later, it was sold to its current owner. Now based in Dalarna, the car has been driven only occasionally in recent years. The earliest inspection record we’ve found is from 2014, at which point the car had covered 37,050 km. It has been very well cared for, with both a fresh inspection and service carried out in May this year. Everything is in proper working order, including the air conditioning. Documentation and two keys are included.

Technically solid throughout. The powerful 2.2-litre inline-six pulls strongly with its 170?hp. Equipped with a manual gearbox, just as it should be in a sporty car like this. Brakes are in great condition, and overall the car is in excellent mechanical shape.

Interior condition
Here, you really get a sense of that new-car feeling. Everything is intact, clean, and tidy. The car is equipped with air conditioning, which wasn’t especially common in convertibles from the early 2000s. Original stereo included.

Exterior condition
There are very few signs of use, and the overall impression is excellent. Good tires on nice original wheels. Clean glass and mirror surfaces. The electric soft top is in great condition.

General condition
The overall impression is fantastic. The low mileage gives the car a solid and tight feel. The passing years seem to have had little effect on it. Incredible driving pleasure, with a strong sense of stepping straight into a James Bond scene from GoldenEye.

Facts about the model
The BMW Z3 was launched in conjunction with the James Bond film GoldenEye, marking the first time Bond drove a BMW. The Z3 roadster featured several design cues inspired by the classic BMW 507 from the 1950s. The smallest engine option for the roadster was a 1.8-litre 4-cylinder with 116 hp, while the most powerful was a 3.2-litre 6-cylinder M engine producing 321 hp.
The coupé model was introduced in 1999, available with a 2.8-litre 6-cylinder engine producing 193 hp, or in the M version with 321 hp. In 2001, the engine lineup was updated with a more powerful 3.0-litre unit producing 231 hp, along with a slightly more powerful M engine at 325 hp.
The BMW Z3 was succeeded by the BMW Z4 starting in 2003.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
