The car was purchased in November 1985 by a gentleman in Skåne who took great care of his beautiful Citroën and used it sparingly. It was then purchased by the current owner, who is a Citroën enthusiast and runs a reputable Citroën dealership and workshop in Kristianstad.
The car was serviced and reconditioned and then placed in the showroom alongside several other fine Citroëns. Inspections were conducted in 2011 at 5936 kilometers and in 2012 at 5936 kilometers. The reason for this is that the vehicle inspection station is located next to the dealership, and the car has not been driven since then.
Now it's time to rotate the display cars, so this one is up for sale for an enthusiast to take over its care.

Mechanical condition
Not tested as timing belt needs to be replaced before start-up. A simple brake test shows that they work without sticking. Last started in 2015 and everything was working then, it has since been on display in a car exhibition.

Facts about the model
The Citroën BX is a passenger car made by Citroën between 1982 and 1994, with the estate version, the Break, introduced in 1985. The BX replaced the Citroën GSA. It was produced with six different engines, ranging from 1.4 to 1.9 liters. A 16-valve engine was introduced in 1987 and produced 160 hp (148 hp in Sweden with a catalytic converter), and two different diesel engines, 1.8 and 1.9 liters, were also available, with the former featuring intercooled and turbocharged air. The BX was also available as a four-wheel drive. The many variants of the BX spanned a large price range, making it competitive with both smaller cars in the Golf class and larger cars in the midsize class. In Teknikens Värld, for example, it was compared in tests against both the Ford Escort and Ford Sierra.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
