"Nice to see a blue and white example."

Description

This 1970 MCB cargo moped had already seen better days when it was given a second chance in Ludvika. During 2014–2015, two skilled enthusiasts took on the project and started from scratch. The moped was completely dismantled, the frame was sandblasted clean, repainted, and the rest of the cargo platform was rebuilt using new parts where needed.

The result was a classic blue-and-white MCB, a color scheme associated with the earlier models before the cargo mopeds later turned green in the mid-1970s. The old cargo moped regained its period-correct appearance.

The engine was fully rebuilt and fitted with a new cylinder, piston, and carburetor. The weight-compensated piston has also been ported a few millimeters. The cylinder remains 50 cc, but the carburetor has been upgraded from the original 9 mm to 12 mm, giving the moped quicker response and a bit more power.
