Description
The bike was purchased partly rebuilt together with many additional parts. At some point in its history, it was repainted from blue to metallic orange, including the tank, side covers, top end, and forks. The current owner then completed the rebuild, reviewing and replacing further worn parts while also updating the electrical wiring so everything functions as it should.
The bike is fitted with aftermarket side mufflers, which are not original and slightly louder than standard, although they caused no issues during inspection. It has now passed its final inspection and is exempt forever
Equipment includes a front disc brake, electric starter, chrome mudguards, black bench seat, and both centre and side stands.
The 743cc parallel twin engine was factory rated at 63 horsepower and 50 lb-ft of torque. It features a counter-balanced crankshaft, electric starter, twin Mikuni BS38 constant-velocity carburetors, and a finned exhaust manifold flowing into chrome header pipes and mufflers.

Condition
-
Mechanical condition
The bike starts easily using the electric starter with a little choke and a couple of minutes warm-up. The engine runs well with no strange noises, and it is easy to ride with smooth gear shifts, solid brakes, and a comfortable riding feel. Fitted with a new battery, a good set of wheels, and older tires in good condition. Inspection exempt and ready to ride
-
Interior condition
Good condition bench seat.
-
Exterior condition
The bike presents itself well and, as mentioned, has been repainted at some stage, including the frame. There are two small dents on the right side of the petrol tank, but otherwise no damage or rust issues to report. Paintwork still shines nicely, showing only a few small marks and scratches, along with some worn paint around the tank from the seat rubbing over time. The engine is clean and the chrome details around the bike present well.

General condition
These bikes helped replace many British motorcycles in the 1970s thanks to their advanced engineering, reliability, and strong performance. The Yamaha TX750 competed with bikes like the Honda CB750 and is now a rare and interesting classic ready to be enjoyed this summer.
