• Mechanical condition

  As mentioned above, the car is driveable and has a valid inspection, but it will need a full review and overdue maintenance to bring it up to proper standard. The engine bay is clean with no signs of leaks. It sits on alloy wheels that show some cosmetic marks, and the tires are in good condition. Recent work includes new front control arms fitted in June 2023 and a new battery installed around the same time.

• Interior condition

  The leather seats are in good condition throughout, with only minor marks and scratches but no damage. Door cards, carpets, dashboard, and gauges are all in good shape. The headliner has been removed but comes complete with all parts and new fabric to finish the repair.
  
  Please note: the fan blower and three electric windows are currently not working, and the electric roof could not be tested as the switch was removed along with the headliner. According to information from the seller, the sunroof can be opened and tilted upwards, but BWA has not been able to test this function.

• Exterior condition

  Now for the best part—the car is very solid with no major rust issues. It was fully repainted in its original colour back in 2002. The bodywork is straight, with only minor surface rust visible on the inner lower edge of the front wing due to stone chips. The underbody is clean, with some signs of past repair around the driver’s side jacking point and light surface rust along sections of the sill, but otherwise in good condition.
  
  The paintwork remains bright and clean overall, though there is some clear coat peeling along the lower body, and paint flaking on the sill and corner of the bumper (see pictures). There are also small marks, scratches, and a light dent on the bumper chrome trim at both the front and rear.

• General condition

  This is the right car for someone with a bit of knowledge and time to carry out the necessary repairs. It mainly needs a thorough health check and general service—after that, you'll have a very enjoyable youngtimer at a very reasonable price.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .

• At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
• During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.

Important to know before placing your bids!

• Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
• When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
• If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
• If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
• Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
• For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
