Description
The car is being auctioned on behalf of the owners estate. The current owner has owned the car since 1999. The car is in a very good condition both exterior and interior, a car that has been well taken care of.
The car received a professional repaint sometime in the early 2000s and has always been parked in a garage during the current owner's ownership.
It has mostly been used for trips to the golf course during the summer months, as well as a few trips to the local country shops. It has driven barely 11.000 kilometres since 2009, less than 1000 kilometres per year. Studded winter tyres with good tread are included with the car, see pictures. The BMW passed the inspection/MOT at Svensk Bilprovning in October 2022.
The car has a leak in the exhaust system which we cannot locate. The ignition lock sometimes acts up during start and stop. The car needs a general inspection and service.

Facts about the model
Den andra generationens 3-serie introducerades som tvådörrarssedan hösten 1982. Med åren växte karossutbudet. Hösten 1983 tillkom en fyrdörrars sedan och till sommaren 1985 presenterades en cabrioletmodell. Till sommaren 1987 kom så även kombimodellen, Touring. Dessutom tillverkade karossbyggaren Baur sin TopCabriolet med targabåge. Modellprogrammet var mycket omfattande med dieselmotorer, fyrhjulsdrift och till våren 1986 kom den första M3:an.
Jämfört med tidigare modell var E30 ett stort framsteg i komfort, utrustning och väghållning.
De sexcylindriga modellerna hade en uppsättning varningslampor ovanför innerbackspegeln som tändes vid start av motorn och släcktes när respektive funktion hade kontrollerats.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
