Description
This car was bought by the current owner in 1983, to be renovated. Together with a good friend who was a car mechanic, the car was taken apart and the rust that existed was welded. When all the preparatory work was completed, it was painted and assembled, the interior was re-upholstered and the engine was renovated.
The car was completed and registered in 1996 and has since been used for summer tours to car meet and exhibitions.
After a while the owner came across an engine with a little more power that he mounted in the car now, the original renovated engine is included in the purchase.

Nuova 500 introducerades i juli 1957. Den var avsedd att konkurrera med de mikrobilar som var populära i Europa under 1950-talet. Den tekniska uppbyggnaden följde den större 600-modellen, med svansmotor, självbärande kaross med självmordsdörrar och individuell hjulupphängning runt om, men mekaniken var enklare, med luftkyld tvåcylindrig motor på 13 hk och osynkroniserad växellåda.
Bilen sålde sämre än förväntat och redan till höstens bilsalong i Turin uppdaterades 500:n. Den ursprungliga versionen kallades nu 500 Economica och såldes till ett reducerat pris. Sedan tillkom 500 Normale med bättre utrustning, som öppningsbara fönster i dörrarna och ett riktigt baksäte. Bägge modellerna fick en starkare motor på 15 hk. 1958 kom 500 Sport, med en något större och starkare motor.
1960 kom den uppdaterade 500 D, med den större motorn från Sport-versionen.
I juni 1965 kom 500 F, med framhängda dörrar. 1968 kompletterades programmet med den 500 L, eller Lusso, med modifierad interiör med ny instrumentbräda och större stötfångare.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
