Description
The same owner kept the car until 2007, after which it remained with the next owner until 2019. It was then purchased by a gentleman from Vegby who, according to receipts, carried out an extensive renovation—investing well over 100 hours along with significant parts costs. The engine was renovated with new seals and gaskets, a replacement gearbox was fitted, brakes were overhauled all round, the engine bay was repainted, the electrical system was reviewed, and the carburettor was refurbished. To finish, a period-correct “gangster cap” (roof-mounted sun visor) was installed.
The car passed its most recent inspection in 2023 without any remarks and was awarded a gold star by the inspection centre—something that is not easily achieved.
The current owner acquired the car in 2024 and has used it lightly as a summer vehicle. It was recently driven approximately 30 km to our depot without any issues. Overall, this is a very well-presented car that looks fantastic and drives beautifully, making it an ideal summer classic for its next owner.

Mechanical condition
The engine runs smoothly with no issues, and the gearbox shifts easily with a nicely balanced clutch. The car drives well, with stable handling and solid brakes. The engine bay is clean and well kept—always a good sign of careful ownership.
Occasionally, the starter motor may hang slightly and requires a second attempt. It sits on original wheels with hubcaps and good older tyres. Inspection-exempt and ready to drive home and enjoy. -
Interior condition
Interior is exceptionally clean and well presented. The seats have been reupholstered by Hilding & Johansson in Gothenburg, with the door cards redone to match. All seats are in great condition, with only a small hole on the driver’s seat, and the driver’s door handle has been repaired (see pictures).
The original headliner is undamaged, showing only light age-related marks. It also retains nice rubber floor mats and the original dashboard, which presents well with a neat painted finish throughout. All gauges are fully working. The only noted issue is that the interior heater fan needs attention, as it is not working properly. -
Exterior condition
Bodywork is in excellent condition, free from dents, damage, or rust, and the underbody is exceptionally clean and solid.
The paintwork presents beautifully in a deep, gleaming black finish, with no visible damage or even stone chips—it still looks as if it has just been repainted. The chrome trim all around is bright and well-kept, with only light oxidation noted on the wing mirrors.
A period-correct roof visor (“gangster keps”) is fitted, adding great character and enhancing the car’s authentic look. These are highly sought after today and can cost upwards of 10,000 SEK. -
General condition
A wonderful-looking car backed up by strong mechanical condition. It is a pleasure to drive and will make the new owner very happy. The car is ready to be used and enjoyed immediately. It is only being sold to fund the owner’s next purchase—a PV Sport.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
