"Fun and unusual scooter in a watershed condition; those who prefer untouched and deeply patinated or those who want it finely restored to better than new condition."

Description

The current owner has used the scooter sparingly after the revival in 2016 but has still managed trips to meets in Norway, Denmark, Germany and Italy along with local and national excursions at meets in Sweden. Scooter collectors around the world consider this particular model to be particularly interesting, and better-new-refurbished examples are often available for viewing at international meetings. But when this pristine example shows up at meetings, connoisseurs often get a little extra excited. Consequently, the scooter has won prizes at all the international meets it has participated in; EuroLambretta 2016 in Germany, Lambretta 70th Anniversary World Rally at Autodromo di Monza in Milan 2017 and Classic Scooter Run in Oslo 2018.

Condition

  • Mechanical condition

The engine received a careful overhaul in conjunction with the scooter being put back into service in 2016 after being idle since 1967. The cylinder has been bored to an oversized size and a new piston has been fitted, as well as a new chain. Furthermore, all cables, rear shock absorbers, front springs, brake pads, ignition parts, new tyres and a new horn were changed.

  • Interior condition

Single saddles with a newly manufactured cover, sewn according to the accessories catalogue of the time. Otherwise normal wear.

  • Exterior condition

Beautifully patinated by nature and deliberately preserved in that condition. The expression "original only once" fits this scooter well. The old wooden tray, key ring and briefcase are unfortunately not included.

  • General condition

Patina in a user-friendly condition to say the least.

Facts about the model
