Description
It was originally sold new in Värnamo in the autumn of 1966 and changed hands in Nässjö in 1972. The second owner used it as a daily driver for the first few years and then as an enthusiast's car until the spring of 2021. It was stored away in recent years. In 2021, it was sold to a Volvo enthusiast who serviced the car, and in 2022, it was acquired by the current owner. The car has been repainted but is otherwise in an unrestored, original condition. It is complete and in good shape, showing signs of use over its 137 000 km of use. About 15 years ago, rust was repaired in the spare wheel well, and the car received a new paint job in its original color. It still retains a nice and presentable exterior but has some minor touch-ups at the lower parts. The interior is original and in good condition. Underneath, the car looks solid with no significant rust issues. It passed a new inspection in August 2023 and is therefore exempt from future inspections.

Mechanical condition
It starts easily and feels that familiar, reassuring Volvo confidence in the B18 engine and gearbox. The brakes have been recently overhauled, and a new generator has been installed. The most recent inspection was conducted on August 31, 2023.

In unrestored, original condition. The seats and door panels are all original. There are some signs of wear and scratches on the painted parts due to the passage of time.

Exterior condition
The paint is in good condition, and the chrome and other details are in normal condition for an unrestored but repainted car. There are some touch-ups from the repaint on the door sills. There are no specific issues to note.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
