Description
The car was sold in Sweden in January 1994 before being purchased by the present owner's family in 1999. The car has always been kept in a heated garage. It has only been used as a summer car since 2008. It includes almost all of the equipment that was standard on the luxury models in 1993.
The paint was damaged by stone chips on the autobahn on one of the travels through Germany, and it was then repainted in the original color by Ljunggren's paint in Kalmar, and the windscreen was replaced.
The engine runs smoothly and efficiently, with 200 horsepower available if required. The car is in good condition and was inspected on 2021-09-21, giving it approval till 2022-11-30.
Service has been provided since the beginning, first at Saab legend Mats Riesel Bil in Solna and then at other branded workshops. There is a service manual and documentation available.
The air conditioner was replaced at one point and operates flawlessly. 1996 drive belt 1998: new cam chain. Front and rear bushings were replaced, and the steering joint was replaced in 1999. Ljungren's paint was repainted in 1999. Windscreen replacement in 1999. Electric antenna replaced in 1999. Dinitrol 2000 is a rust-prevention treatment. 2000 airbag electronics unit, Front and rear exhaust pipes, as well as a 2002 muffler. 2002, new fuel pump. TCS 2005, replace the safety valve. Around 2005, new brake discs and pads were installed. 2009 ignition coil cassette replacement Airbag sensor and 2020, new battery.

Saab 9000 tillverkades i två generationer mellan 1984 och 1998. När den kom var den en markör. Detta var en betydligt större bil än 900. Detta var den första Saaben med tvärställd motor sedan Saab 92. Arbetet med 9000 hade startat redan 1974 som ersättare till 99. När samgåendet mellan Saab och Volvo sprack agerade Saab och inledde samtal med Fiat-ägda Lancia, vilket ledde fram till Saab 9000, Fiat Croma, Lancia Thema och Alfa Romeo 164 – alla med samma chassi och många gemensamma komponenter.
När 9000 började säljas fanns ett motoralternativ: en fyrcylindrig tvålitersmotor med turbo och 175 hk. Året därpå introducerades samma motor utan turbo på 130 hästkrafter i 9000i. Saab 9000 fick mycket positiva omdömen i massmedia och låg länge tvåa i svensk försäljningsstatisktik efter Volvo.
