There is only one owner. The car has always been regarded as if it were a part of the family. During the winter, the current seller's father parked it and drove it into the garage. For the past five years, the car has been parked in the same garage. Now, the son believes that it is time to pass the car on to someone who will treat it with the same care that his father did.
The low mileage is attributed to the owner usually driving his company car. The B21 engine powered the DL model, while the B19 engine powered the L variant. The car has an original radio but no towbar. Four-speed. The new car cost a little more than SEK 40,000.

Interior condition
The interior is clean and well-kept, and the seats are always protected with seat covers. The back seat has several cracked seams, as shown in the photos.

Exterior condition
The original paintwork is in good condition, however there are some stone chips and paint touch-ups. There is some rust under a window sill in the back, as shown in the photo. The underbody has been properly protected by an old anti-corrosion treatment that is still in good condition. There are even older winter tires available.

A Volvo 245 in a very fine working condition. A nice untouched original car.

Facts about the model
Volvo 240 var en vidareutveckling av Volvo 140 och presenterades 1974. På de första årgångarna av Volvo 240 kan man tydligt se släktdragen i fronten från konceptbilen Volvo VESC. 240 (inklusive Volvo 260) hade stora försäljningsframgångar och är Volvos mest tillverkade modellserie med sina cirka 2,8 miljoner exemplar. Den indelades precis som sin föregångare i 242 (tvådörrarsversion), 244 (fyradörrarsversionen) och 245 (kombimodellen). Dessa beteckningar togs bort i och med årsmodell 1983 – istället fick samtliga versioner officiellt heta 240. Beteckningarna används fortfarande i folkmun för att klargöra vilken kaross det handlar om. Kombivarianten (kallas så gott som alltid Volvo 245) var under många år populär bland svenska barnfamiljer.
1977 ersätts B20-motorn av B19 som är en version av B21 med något mindre cylindervolym. En jubileumsversion i silvermetallic tillverkas med anledning av Volvos 50-årsjubileum.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
