Mechanical condition
The car starts easily and runs smoothly and nicely in terms of engine and drivetrain. During the test drive on 70km/h minor country roads, the car was stable, quiet, and comfortable. Everything such as steering, handling, clutch, and shifting worked very well, as did the brakes and parking brake. Not checked on a lift, but what could be seen looked good, no remarks from the Vehicle Inspection. Wheel arch edges and underneath the doors against rubber seals also looked good. The car is equipped with a tow hitch.

Interior condition
Overall, the car is in well-preserved condition with mild wear consistent with its age and mileage. It features a pleasant light interior with good resilience and comfort in both the seats and rear bench. The headliner and door panels show "normal detachment" typical for the model, but everything remains intact. The textile floor mats are in good condition, complemented by additional custom-fit textile mats and molded rubber mats (SAAB original). The steering wheel, controls, instruments, and all functions appear to work well, including the heating and fan. It is also equipped with a newer Pioneer stereo.

Exterior condition
Overall in fine, well-preserved condition with mild wear for age and mileage. Fine paintwork. Shiny glass, rubber, plastic, and lighting details in good condition. The left window trim at the bottom rear is cracked, a new one is included. All windows are theft-marked. Nice rims and good Good Year tires. Engine and trunk are in good condition with original storage box and tools, and a molded rubber mat in the back.

General condition
Recently a common sight in traffic, now on the verge of disappearing. An entry-level model in classic "folkhome" blue paint with a light, comfortable textile upholstery. No turbo effects or fireworks among the controls and instruments. Here we have Scandinavian simplicity and function that gets the job done. Just a solid and good car. In this condition, with a history of few owners and low mileage, it is a relatively rare survivor that has now reached and passed the date to step into the realm of classic and enthusiast vehicles.

Facts about the model
The design of the Saab 9000 is attributed to Giorgetto Giugiaro and Björn Envall. It was available in two body styles: a four-door sedan and a five-door hatchback. Throughout the years, many different versions were produced, ranging from family cars to vehicles with luxury and sporty ambitions. One notable variant was the Talladega model, named after a racetrack in the USA where Saab set several world speed records for standard cars.
In model year 1992, the Saab 9000 received an upgrade with the introduction of the 9000 CS. This version featured a five-door hatchback, a lower front end with four headlights, a redesigned rear with significant reinforcements, and improved safety. At the same time, the standard four-door CD version continued production. New for the year was the inclusion of a catalytic converter as standard and extended service intervals.
On May 6, 1998, the last Saab 9000 was produced and was driven directly to the Saab Museum
