Description
This charming Dodge was imported from Montevideo, Uruguay, in the early 1990s. When the car arrived in Sweden, the drivetrain, brakes, and other components were inspected. Otherwise, the car appears to be in fairly original condition. Various photos and documents accompany the car, as well as side curtains and some spare parts.
A previous owner drove the car on the road from Malmö to Stockholm to participate in the vintage car event, the Prins Bertil Memorial Gärdes Loppet, covering a distance of over 600 km. According to reports, it also participated in several international rallies, including the Rally Internacional del Río de la Plata in Uruguay in 1988. The Dodge Brothers Phaeton 126 was a speedy car in 1927, with a top speed of 96 km/h.
The radiator hoses have been replaced, and basic fluid servicing has been recently performed. However, during test driving and photography, it was noted that the fuel tank was not functioning and needs attention. The convertible top also needs to be inspected.
The car has had five owners in Sweden, with the most recent owner having it for a short period. The car is registered, inspected, and approved for six people, including the driver. The engine and gearbox are in good working order, but the fuel tank needs attention. During the test drive, a plastic tank was used.

The interior is in a used but good condition. There are cracks in the leather upholstery. The convertible top frame hangs slightly on the left side and should be inspected, as shown in the pictures. The floor beneath the mats is in good condition.

A pleasant car in good condition that needs some details addressed. Otherwise, it's a nice classic car, approaching its centenary celebration.

Facts about the model
Dodge Brothers Machine shop was founded in the early 1900s. Initially, they were a supplier to car manufacturers in Detroit. In 1914, they started their own car manufacturing in Hamtramck, Michigan, USA. The main factory was built in 1910 and was used until 1980. The brand is named after the brothers John Francis Dodge and Horace Elgin Dodge. In 1928, the brand was incorporated into the Chrysler corporation. Dodge has sold both passenger cars and light and heavy-duty trucks under its name. Today, they are owned by Fiat Chrysler Group LLC.

- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
