Description
It’s fascinating and wonderful that so much of the documentation has survived, even though the car appears to have fallen out of the registry at some point. The old registration certificate from 1969, where Meinhardt, then a sergeant major, moved from Sävsjö to Skövde, presumably for service with the armored regiment P6, served as the necessary proof for the original registration and re-registration. This was completed with the current owner in 2020, after he had restored the car to its original specifications. The latest and final approved inspection took place on July 31, 2020

Mechanical condition
The small 1.1-liter engine in the SR version, equipped with dual Solex carburetors, starts easily and runs briskly, sounding good with excellent values in a compression test. The odometer currently shows just under 53,000 kilometers, but it's likely that the car has traveled a total of approximately 153,000 kilometers. The car is easy to drive with a smooth gearbox that provides a clear gear engagement, and it performs well on the road with effective brakes and suspension.

Interior condition
The original interior is in good condition, with everything looking clean and neat: door panels, carpets, and headliner. It features the characteristic sporty Opel wooden steering wheel and the equally sporty gearshift console with three additional gauges for oil pressure, charging, and a clock.

Exterior condition
Painted in winter 2019 with doors, fenders, hood, and trunk removed, followed by an underbody treatment. New original steel wheels with newer Firestone tires in the original size. The added name "Kiemen" refers to the gills, the air vents on the C-pillars. The Rallye version also includes the distinctive matte black hood and the racing stripes on the sides.

General condition
Elegant and attractive in a body-restored condition with original specifications, showcasing a sportiness typical of Opel's era. Despite its modest engine output of 60 horsepower, it boasts a lightweight curb weight of just 865 kg.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
