Mechanical condition
Equipped with an inline six-cylinder engine producing 193 hp and an automatic transmission. Starts easily and runs smoothly on the road. The electric opening and closing of the soft top operate flawlessly without issues. Original tools for manual operation of the soft top are included. All instruments and the radio work without remarks. The seats have programmable memory settings, which function properly. The car has recently been serviced with new engine oil and filter.

Interior condition
Nice interior. The driver’s seat shows some wear on the left side of the backrest. Damage to the instrument cluster glass—see picture. The steering wheel is not perfectly centered. The trunk is in good condition. The right trim panel in the trunk is missing, as well as an interior panel to the left of the steering column.

Exterior condition
Good paintwork with very few blemishes. The full body kit has been newly painted in a matching darker shade. The left spoiler grille is missing, and there is some scuffing at the bottom of the spoiler—see pictures.
Soft top in good condition with slightly dull but normally worn plastic windows. The left side window of the soft top has been replaced but with poorer fitment.
Equipped with aftermarket wheels in good condition, tire size 225/40ZR18. The tires are in fine condition. The spare wheel is the original 16-inch. A hardtop is included, in normal condition apart from a thin crack in the rear window and a small paint chip (see picture). -
General condition
Good overall impression. Proper appearance with condition normal for its age. A few minor remarks.

Facts about the model
The 129 was updated in 1993 and 1996, including the introduction of new engines. Like its predecessor, the R107, it became a long-running success and firmly established the SL-Class as a bestseller in its niche. The R129 was produced between 1989 and 2001.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
