This car was sold new in Sweden in 1947. It has had 5 owners since. The car was restored sometime during the 1980s-1990s when it was repainted, and new upholstery was made. Between 2010 and 2023, it was owned by an enthusiast living in Alstermo. After his passing in 2023, the car was sold via Bilwebauctions to IOGT-NTO in Orsa. The current owner was the lucky winner of the sobriety movement's large car lottery in 2023, where all proceeds went to the association's activities.
The owner is now selling the car due to a lack of storage space. In the winter of 2023-2024, the car was kept in a carport, which unfortunately resulted in some paint peeling on the hood. See the pictures. There are also some other blemishes from the previous repainting. The car comes with a spare wheel, wheel wrench, warning triangle, and fire extinguisher, as well as an extra fan belt, which was standard to carry in older vehicles. The car is roadworthy and exempt from periodic inspections according to veteran car regulations. Since this is a distance auction, the condition details and images come from the owner. BWA has not inspected or test-driven the car on-site. Please review the pictures carefully to assess the condition.

Equipped with a straight six-cylinder 3.5-liter engine with a declared power of 91 horsepower and a three-speed manual transmission. New 6-volt starter battery and carburetor and ignition service done in 2024. Oil change performed in 2023. Starts easily and runs well. See the video. The buyer will need to perform a brake inspection and replace the brake shoes as there is a slight scraping from one wheel when braking. According to the owner, everything technical on the car works except for the side finder.

Older renovation that looks just as good today. There is some oxidation on the heating unit. See picture.

Exterior condition
Older restoration and repainting which we believe was carried out during the 1980s or 1990s. The paint has some defects with color peeling and marks. The trim and chrome are in good usable condition. There are some surface rust spots on the chrome near the vent windows. The tires are older and of the diagonal type.

Charming Swedish-sold 1940s vehicle that was renovated just over 30 years ago. Still maintains a good standard. Has visual notes and needs a brake inspection.

Facts about the model
The DJ Series Stylemaster was introduced as the base model in Chevrolet's 1946 lineup, alongside the top-level Series DK Chevrolet Fleetmaster. The Stylemaster, which was essentially an updated 1942 Chevrolet Master Deluxe, was powered by a 216.5 cu in (3.5 L) inline six-cylinder engine paired with a 3-speed manual transmission. It was offered in the following models: 2-door Town Sedan, 4-door Sport Sedan, 2-door Business Coupe, and 2-door 5-Passenger Coupe. The Business Coupe differed from the 5-Passenger Coupe in that it only had a front seat.
