Description
There it remained until late summer 2021, when the current owner inflated the tires, started the car, had it inspected, and drove it down to the west coast. He repaired the brakes, and the most recent (and final) approved inspection was carried out on September 14, 2021 — the same year the car turned 50 in 2023. The current total mileage is 253,140 km.

Mechanical condition
The carburetor has been freshly rebuilt by an expert in the field — Förgasar-Dan in Borås — but the engine currently runs cleanly only at fully open throttle. The owner is now troubleshooting and making further adjustments before delivery. The car also has a refurbished fuel tank, along with new front brake discs and new rear brakes sourced from a Golf Mk1.

Interior condition
A seat cover has been fitted for a long time, and underneath it you’ll find the undamaged but aged original upholstery. Some of the horsehair padding is protruding from the backrest, and the rear seat upholstery has lost some of its firmness — but it’s green, intact, and original. The old Blaupunkt radio works well with the rear shelf speakers, while the cassette player mounted by the gear console has not been tested.

Exterior condition
Partially repainted and at some point fitted with new front fenders. A few small stone chips on the hood and a minor dent on the right-hand door, where the mirror mount also broke during an adjustment attempt. A replacement mirror should not be too difficult to find.

General condition
Well cared for despite its mileage and consequently nicely preserved. There aren’t many examples of these models still on the road today.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
