"Stylish and pleasant with good functionality. Slightly matte paint with some touch-ups, but no rust damage or repairs."

Description

It was sold new in Piteå and had the same owner up until 2006. It became an enthusiast's car in Piteå in 2016 and continued the same way in Värmland. Almost 20 years ago, it received a new paint job and reupholstered seats. Otherwise, it remains entirely untouched. It's pleasant to drive, without vibrations or transmission noise. The latest and last inspection was done in June 2016, and the car was approved when the new regulations came into effect on May 20, 2018. Since then, it has only been driven during the summer for outings and gatherings. The paint is slightly matte on the top. It might be possible to polish. The car has no rust damage, but there are a few small rust spots below the front lights (pictures) from stone chips. The car is rust-free underneath and in its youth received extensive rust protection. The spare wheel well at the front looks like new on the inside. The car has never been damaged or repaired. It has an Eberspächer heater, which hasn't been started in many years and doesn't start now. It gives a good overall impression and is in user-friendly condition. New tires for the season.

Condition

  • Mechanical condition

Good engine and gearbox, feels solid on the road in terms of chassis and brakes. It received a service at 134,800 kilometers in 2016. Since then, the car has only been driven 2,000 kilometers. At the time of the photo shoot, the high beam only worked on one headlight. The buyer will need to fix this themselves.

  • Interior condition

Complete and nice interior with nicely reupholstered original seats, but not the original fabric. Carpets, door panels, and ceiling are original. The wear on the carpets also feels consistent with the mileage. The upholstery around the rear window is somewhat sun-faded and has traditional moisture stains.

  • Exterior condition

Complete and nice bodywork. There are some touch-ups, but no rust; the paint is partly oxidized, as is often the case with red cars. It needs machine polishing and paint treatment to look really nice. Moldings, chrome, and glass are original, but the front windshield has likely been replaced at some point with a tinted one.

  • General condition

A complete and nice car that is good as it is. Has spent a lot of time in the garage and is well-maintained.
