Description
The engine underwent a transformation as well, with the original unit being replaced by a renovated one. Notably, a Mini Cooper S Eaton M45 compressor set at 1.5 bar was installed, accompanied by a Haltech injection fuel management system. This was done in place of the original injection system, which is no longer the most practical or optimal choice in today's context.
The current owner acquired the car after its renovation was completed in 2011. During their ownership, they made some changes, such as swapping the red interior for a very nice original blue interior, including seat covers, door cards, and trims. Additionally "Klöver"-wheels with a 185 profile were added to enhance the car's aesthetics.
As of today, the car maintains its impressive condition across its exterior, interior, and mechanical components. The striking color continues to capture attention. An extra touch of significance comes from a signature in the boot by Pelle Petersson, the designer of the P1800 model.

Mechanical condition
The brakes have a minor squeak due to limited use this year. A longer drive or quick review should fix it. The car runs and drives smoothly, requiring only general servicing for the foreseeable future. It features appealing Clover wheels and good tires.

Interior condition
The interior is fresh and inviting, featuring new blue seats and trims. The headrests are black and the headliner has some marks. The dashboard is nice, The clock and oil temp guage need repair and the fuel guage skows 3/4 when full.

Exterior condition
The bodywork is in a nice condition, displaying a clean and straight appearance without rust problems, except for minor surface rust in the boot. The underbody is tidy, with visible repair work evident on the sills (please refer to pictures). The repaint was executed skillfully, retaining a vibrant and glossy finish. The engine bay and windshield inner post remain white. In terms of minor details, door alignment might benefit from slight adjustment. The chrome elements are bright and appealing, though there are slight signs of oxidation on the bumper and a worn Volvo badge on the bonnet.

General condition
This car truly catches the eye among a crowd. While not entirely original, it has been renovated to enhance reliability and ease of maintenance, making it an enjoyable and trouble-free driving option that will serve the buyer well for many years to come.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
