Description
The car has spent the majority of its time in Mälardalen and Stockholm. During the 2000s, the car was owned and driven by the lady on Lidingö for 13 years, and it cost her a "rolling renovation" at the Mercedes workshop in Danderyd for a total of SEK 330,000. All invoices are available, and they cover everything from the interior and woodwork to the engine and transmission, as well as rust repair and painting. The car was virtually always stored indoors and was never excessively rusted, although a few minor flaws on the wings and door edges were repaired. The only variation we can discern is a minor shade difference in the light yellow-cream-white lacquer, which is visible in improvements if you look closely. It may benefit from a machine polish. The interior of the car is really excellent, including the interior, engine compartment, and baggage room. Everything works properly, even the sunroof. The straight six-cylinder engine has adequate power, and the car shifts smoothly. The odometer reads 2400 kilometers and given its excellent condition and lack of wear, this is most likely 124,000 kilometers.

It starts easily and runs smoothly. Excellent braking. There are no vibrations. It's a joy to drive. In one of the photos, you can see how thrilled the old owner was.

Interior condition
The interior is in great condition. All wooden details were renovated in accordance with the information. Other features are in excellent original shape.

Exterior condition
Incredibly nice body and paintwork. It's complete in every aspect and has wonderful straight bodywork, a slight shade variation in the paint on the right rear wing at the bottom, as seen in the images, and a minor paint release or surface rust on the lower edge of the front wing, near the front wheel, as seen in the photos.

General condition
One of the more attractive little Mercedes coupes we've seen. This car is a great for a collector because to its outstanding color combination and documentation. Furthermore, it is quite comfy to drive and the quality of every details is excellent.

Det är i Sverige vi kallar denna modell för kompaktmerca, redan i de första svenska broschyrerna förekommer uttrycket. I Tyskland är den mest känd som /8 (Strich Acht), de fyr- och femcylindriga hette internt W115 emedan de sexcylindriga benämndes W114.
Det är svårt att inte trivas i en Kompakt. Modellserien har definitivt bidragit till Mercedes rykte som byggare av kvalitetsbilar. Inredningen är av hög kvalitet, funktionell och diskret, stolarna är påkostade med komfort som räcker en hel dag. Klangen vid dörrstängning satte en referens för övriga tillverkare. Droskägarna jublade åt modellen som var praktiskt taget outslitlig. Mercedes var även tidigt ute med att satsa på säkerhet med bland annat vadderad instrumentbräda, krockzoner och eftergivlig rattstång. Temperamentet varierar, i 200D finns bara 55 hk till förfogande i 280E är effekten hela 185 hk. Oavsett fartresurser färdas du tryggt och värdigt, inte sällan med ett självbelåtet leende på läpparna.

For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
