Condition

Mechanical condition
The engine does not cool as it should. It heats up rather quickly and tends to boil over. Head gasket replaced approximately 25,000 km ago. According to experts, it may be a clogged radiator or the system may need bleeding. Common on this engine. After only a short drive, most things on the car appear to work. Brakes need lubrication or refurbishment. Short clutch travel, one right-side power window that sticks, the sunroof cannot be closed. The check panel in the car functions unreliably. Not all instruments have been tested. Working locks and two sets of keys.
-
Interior condition
Complete leather upholstery, which however needs conditioning/re-dyeing. Carpets and door panels in usable condition. Dirty inside, but by no means an impossible project to take on.
-
Exterior condition
Numerous rust spots scattered across the car (see photos). Dull and scratched hood. Rust damage in the front wheel housing at the lower part of the left fender. Good chrome on the bumpers, though some minor blemishes are present. Glass surfaces in usable condition.
-
General condition
The impression of this car is that a classic such as this should be well worth restoring. Prices for this model are rising year after year.
